For the island’s other grapes, see Hvar wine, grape by grape.

Taste and food

The first thing you notice is the perfume: floral and muscat-like. In the glass it is golden-yellow and firm rather than light.

With food: white meat, fish and seafood, or on its own as an aperitif.
