Private boat tours Hvar

Pickup on the riva

Music on, and out to the Pakleni islands. Pickup is on the riva in Hvar town, or at the corner by Hula Hula if that is easier for a big group, and the ice box is loaded before anyone steps on board. The first run is short. Nothing in the Pakleni archipelago is more than twenty minutes from town, so the day starts properly within a quarter of an hour of casting off. Tell the skipper in the morning where you want to finish and he builds the route backwards from there.

Pakleni otoci izlet

Beach hopping

Lagoons and coves for swimming, jumping and the first round. The Green Lagoon by Milna is the shallow turquoise one, Dubovica is the postcard bay with the stone house, and the Red Rocks are where the jumping happens, ledges from roughly two metres up to about fifteen, with the skipper calling which ones have enough water under them. Ždrilca, Mlini and Jerolim fill in the rest of the afternoon. Nothing here is fixed: if the crew finds a bay it likes, you stay in it.

14:30
Palmizana Hvar

Long lunch on Palmizana

Lunch on Palmižana or a konoba in the pines, long and loud. The bay has been feeding visitors since 1906 and the restaurants above it, Laganini, Zori, Toto’s, are the best known in the archipelago, which also means they need booking in July and August. Give it two hours if you want it done properly. Our restaurant guide has the rest.

16:30
Carpe diem

Beach club hour

Carpe Diem Beach on Stipanska or another beach bar, depending on where the day is best. This is the hour that decides how the evening goes, so the skipper will tell you honestly which club is worth it that afternoon rather than where the commission is. Some crews stay on the boat and anchor off; some go ashore and do not come back. Both are fine, just say which before he ties up.

19:00
Sunset cruise

Sunset leg home

Sunset on the way home, or a drop straight at the club if that is where the night is going. The run back to the riva takes twenty minutes, so the decision can wait until the last swim. If you are staying out, the skipper leaves you at Hula Hula or Carpe Diem and you come back by taxi boat. If you are coming home, you are on the riva in time to change for dinner.

Times are a template: it is a private tour and the plan bends to your crew and the sea.

Book the boat, tell us the day

The boat is private, so all we really need from you is a date and a rough head count. Up to twelve people fit on one boat; if you are more than that we send two boats that run the day together, which crews usually end up preferring anyway. Tell us what you have in mind and we come back with availability and the exact price for your group. If it is easier to talk it through, WhatsApp is normally the fastest way to reach us.

Where a party boat from Hvar actually goes

The route is the same coast the sightseeing tours use, run in a different order and at a different pace. Out of Hvar town to the Green Lagoon at Borče, east along the south shore to Dubovica, then the Red Rocks for anyone who wants to jump. The ledges there run from roughly two metres up to about fifteen, and your skipper will tell you which ones have water under them that day.

After that it is the Pakleni islands: Ždrilca and Mlini for the shallow turquoise, Jerolim and Stipanska for the beach clubs, Vlaka and Palmižana for lunch under the pines. Palmižana has been taking guests since 1906 and still has the botanical park the Meneghello family planted around the estate.

The last decision of the day is where to be dropped. Most crews finish at Hula Hula or Carpe Diem Beach on Stipanska and make their own way back; some come back to the riva and start again on foot.

None of it is fixed. It is your boat for the day, so if the group wants three hours in one bay and no cliff jumping at all, that is the tour.

Good to know before you go

Groups over twelve go on two boats that run together, which most crews end up preferring anyway, more space, two sound systems and nobody waiting to get in the water.

Bring what you would take to a beach club: swimwear, a towel, sun cream, a hat, water shoes for the pebble, and cash for lunch and drinks ashore. Drinks on board and snorkelling masks come with the boat.

Two practical things worth asking us before you book: whether you want a boat with a toilet on board, which matters more than people think on a nine-hour day, and whether you want to bring your own drinks. Tell us the plan and we put you on the right boat.

And the obvious one: the skipper decides what is safe. Jumping happens where there is depth and no swell, and the boat does not leave a bay with anyone still in the water.

Party boat, common questions

How many people can come?

Up to 12 on one boat, and for bigger crews we send two boats that cruise together, which honestly makes the day even better: races, splashing wars and twice the deck space.

Can we bring our own music and drinks?

Playlist yes, absolutely: the day sounds like you. Drinks are already on board, and if you want something specific for the toast, tell us when booking and we arrange it.

Do you do bachelorette parties too?

Half our party bookings are bachelorettes. Same formula, your rules: lagoon swims, a long lunch, Carpe Diem Beach if the group wants it or a quiet cove if it does not.

Where does the party go after the boat?

Hvar town takes over: the riva bars, Hula Hula for sunset if you are back early, and the clubs after midnight. Ask the skipper, he always knows where that night is.

What happens if someone overdoes it?

It happens, and the skipper has seen it all: water, shade, a calm ride home. The boat is a judgement-free zone with a first aid kit.

How many people fit on a party boat from Hvar?

Up to twelve on one boat. Bigger groups go on two boats that cruise together and stop in the same bays, which usually works out better anyway, more room and two sound systems.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Tell us when you book and we will set the boat up for it. Drinks on board come with the tour; if you want a particular bottle for the occasion, bring it.

Does the boat have a toilet?

Some of ours do and some do not. It depends on the boat, and on a full-day charter it matters. Ask us before you book and we will put you on one that has it.

Where do you go cliff jumping?

The Red Rocks on Hvar’s south shore, where the ledges run from roughly two metres to about fifteen. The skipper picks the ones with enough water and no swell on the day, and nobody jumps where it is not safe.

Can you drop us at a beach club at the end?

Yes. Most crews finish at Hula Hula or Carpe Diem Beach on Stipanska rather than coming back to the riva. Tell the skipper in the morning so the route ends in the right place.

What should we bring?

Swimwear, a towel, sun cream, a hat, water shoes for the pebble beaches, and cash for lunch and drinks ashore.
