Built in 1612, at the height of the baroque era when Venice set the tone along the Adriatic, this historic villa is a protected heritage monument under the care of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. Its carved stone balcony looks straight over the Riva esplanade and the harbour, where yachts and classic sailboats moor just a stone’s throw away.
With more than 400 m2 spread over three levels connected by an internal wooden staircase, the villa offers 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests. The master bedroom crowns the top floor: from its bed you can see the island of Palmižana. The sunny living room with its million-dollar sea view is the natural gathering spot for a glass of local wine.
The lower level is made for pure indulgence: a jacuzzi, sauna and massage room reached via the pool, plus a wine cellar stocked with bottles from Hvar wineries. On the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room open onto a yard scented with lavender and jasmine. Little wonder the house is a favourite venue for birthdays, anniversaries and weddings in Hvar.
Partial rental with exclusive use is available in the shoulder season (01 Apr to 02 May and 20 Sep to 02 Nov) at €650 per day: two bedrooms for up to 4 guests plus the living room, library, kitchen, dining room, garden and the full spa area. Pool heating is available as an option for €50 per day.
