The villa sits not on Hvar itself but on the Pakleni islands just across from Hvar Town: where most visitors come for a day trip, you get to live in that untouched beauty around the clock. Four spacious bedrooms each have a private ensuite shower room, and the four king-size beds convert easily into eight singles, ideal for retreat groups. The ground floor is one open space: a modern kitchen, dining area and living room decorated with artwork by the renowned Hvar artist Soša.

Outside, sun loungers, lazy bags, hammocks and a shaded dining area set the tone. Despite the small-island setting there is high-speed WiFi, drinkable tap water and solar power: a true eco-oasis. Taxi boats connect you to Hvar Town, and as your hosts we help with groceries and pre-stocking. The welcome pack is 100% organic produce from the estate: honey, olives, figs and homemade jam, all available to buy as souvenirs.

Palmižana beach with Bacchus, fine-dining Zori and the Laganini beach bar lies 2.3 km away, alongside a botanical park of native Mediterranean species. Rosemary, lavender and immortelle scent the air; the cicadas provide the soundtrack. A private bay, a secluded beach and unspoiled nature: there is no greater luxury than that.
