Water taxi routes from Hvar town

A water taxi is a private boat with a skipper, priced per boat and one way, so it gets cheaper per head the more of you there are. Two boats carry up to twelve passengers between them.

The short hops are the ones most guests use twice a day in summer: fifteen minutes to the Pakleni islands, twenty to Palmizana and back again after dinner. The long runs replace a full travel day, and the skipper tracks your flight.

Anchored off the island? The boat comes alongside your yacht and lands you on the riva, minutes from the Pjaca.

Concierge on Hvar, common questions

Do I have to be your villa guest?

No. Every service on this page is available to anyone staying on Hvar, whether you booked a villa through us, a hotel, an apartment or a friend’s house.

How far in advance should I book?

For July and August, as early as you can for chefs, boats and dinner tables, because the good ones are taken weeks ahead. Airport transfers and water taxis can usually be arranged a day or two before, and sometimes on the day. Outside the peak weeks a few days is enough for almost everything.

What does the concierge service cost?

You pay the partner for the service itself, at the price we confirm in writing before anything is booked. There is no separate booking fee for arranging it.

How fast do you reply?

Between 8 am and 10 pm, quickly, and by a person rather than an automated reply. Overnight requests are answered first thing in the morning.

Can you arrange things for a group split across several houses?

Yes, and it is one of the more common requests. Boats, transfers and dinners for twenty people across three villas are coordinated from one thread, which is much easier than five people booking separately.

What happens if the weather turns?

Anything on the water is rescheduled or refunded in full. The maestral picks up most summer afternoons and is normal sailing weather; a real storm is not, and the skipper decides, not the calendar.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us the dates, how many of you there are and roughly what the week should feel like. We will come back with a plan you can change.
