Tirkiz sits just above Vitarnja, the pebble cove east of Jelsa that locals nicknamed after its turquoise water. It is about a 10 minute walk from the main square along an easy paved seaside path.
A mellow and fairly priced spot: deck chairs to rent below the terrace, coffee, cocktails and cold drinks through the day, and plenty of pine shade around the cove. The water in front is clear and emerald, easy in for a swim between rounds.
