Riva Marina occupies a prime stretch of the palm lined waterfront at Riva 27, directly opposite where the catamarans tie up. If you arrive by fast boat from Split you can be at reception two minutes after stepping off, which regular visitors love.
The hotel was refurbished in 2022 and the rooms are compact but sharply styled, with large bathrooms and, on the front side, sea views over the promenade; front rooms have soundproof windows because the Riva stays lively late. There is no pool, the harbour swimming spots and nearby beaches stand in for one.
It suits travellers who want the cafe and nightlife scene of Hvar at the doorstep and do not mind paying for position. Light sleepers should ask for a room away from the waterfront.
