How do you get to Palmizana: on foot, by car or by boat?
The island has no cars: arrive by taxi boat from Hvar town straight into Vinogradisce bay, or moor at the ACI marina on the north side and walk the short path across the island. What is the seabed like and how is the entry into the sea?
The shore is partly pebble and partly sandy, which makes it very popular with families. The bay is ringed by some of the best restaurants in the Hvar area, so many visitors come as much for lunch as for swimming.
