Professional villa management

included

Every villa on this page is personally managed by our own team at hvar.house. It is not an extra you pay for. It is the reason these houses are on this list at all.

Not sure a villa is the right shape at all? Where to stay on Hvar sets the town against Stari Grad, Jelsa and the south side, and says plainly who each one suits.

You should not have to organise anything

24/7 maintenance support, concierge service and real local expertise, all of it handled by our Hvar island team, in person, from the moment you write to us until the day you leave.

What that covers, in practice: a private chef for a single dinner or for every evening, catering and the grocery shopping done before you land, restaurant and konoba reservations, beach club and wine bar tables, wine tastings and olive oil tastings, private boat charter, a skipper for the day, speedboat transfers from Split and Dubrovnik airports, ferry and catamaran tickets, a car waiting at the port, airport transfers, car and scooter rental, day trips to the Pakleni islands, Vis, the Blue Cave and Bol, sailing, diving and sea kayaking, guided walks through Hvar town, Stari Grad and the UNESCO plain, daily housekeeping and linen changes, laundry, pool care and garden maintenance, massage and treatments in the villa, yoga and personal training, babysitting and nannies, a photographer for the family, birthdays, anniversaries and small celebrations arranged in the house, and 24/7 maintenance the moment anything stops working.

One point of contact, fifteen minutes away, who knows the house you are staying in and knows the island around it. A table on a terrace that does not take bookings, a skipper for the morning, a chef for one evening, a car waiting at the ferry. You ask once and it is arranged.

Renting a villa on Hvar, the essentials

Everything we get asked before the booking, in the order people usually ask it.

Why a villa instead of a hotel

A private villa gives you what no hotel room can: your own pool, a kitchen and a terrace to live around, and no crowds at breakfast. Most houses here sleep 6 to 12, so a group often pays less per person than two or three hotel rooms and gets far more space.

Best areas to stay

Hvar town for restaurants and nightlife, Stari Grad for calm and the ferry port, Sveta Nedjelja for vineyards and climbing, and the Pakleni islands if you want to be reached only by boat.

What the pool actually means

Heated pools extend the season into May and October. Infinity edges look out over the sea rather than the garden wall. Rooftop pools in the old town are small but the view is the whole harbour. Each listing says which one you are getting.

Best time to book

July and August are the peak and the best houses go months ahead. May, June and September give you the same sea at a lower price and an island that still breathes. Winter is quiet, mild and half-empty.

Getting to your villa

Catamarans and car ferries reach Hvar from Split in one to two hours. A private speedboat does the airport door-to-port in about an hour and a half. The full picture is in our how to get to Hvar guide.

Services with your stay

Private chef, boat and yacht charter, airport transfers, the fridge stocked before you arrive, events and celebrations. All of it goes through our concierge and none of it costs you a booking fee.

Groups, families and long stays

Two families sharing, a wedding party, a company off-site or a month of remote work. Tell us the shape of the group and we will tell you honestly which houses work and which do not.

How booking works with us

You write, we answer within the day between 8 am and 10 pm, and we hold the dates while you decide. You deal with the people who manage the house, not with a call centre and not with a platform.

Hvar villas FAQ

What types of villas can I rent on Hvar?

Stone houses in the old town of Hvar with rooftop pools, modern villas with infinity pools above the sea, family houses with gardens, designer villas among the vineyards of Sveta Nedjelja and secluded retreats on the Pakleni islands. Every house on this page has a pool of its own.

Who manages the villas and what does that cost me?

Our own team at hvar.house manages every villa listed here: 24/7 maintenance, housekeeping, pool care and a concierge who lives on the island. It is included in the stay, not billed separately, and your contact is Sanja Marić from the first message to the last day.

When should I book a villa for summer?

For July and August, as early as you can. The best houses are taken months in advance, and the largest ones first. In May, June and September you can often find something excellent a few weeks out and at a noticeably better price.

How do I get from Split Airport to my villa?

Bus or taxi to Split port, then a catamaran to Hvar town or a car ferry to Stari Grad. The fastest way is a private speedboat transfer we arrange for you, door to port in about an hour and a half, with a car waiting on the other side.

Are the villas suitable for families?

Many are. We know which ones have shallow ends, fenced gardens and a beach within walking distance, and which ones have a cliff-edge infinity pool that is wonderful for couples and wrong for toddlers. Tell us the ages and we will point you at the right houses.

Can you arrange a chef, a boat or extra services?

Yes. Private chef and catering, boat and yacht charter, airport and ferry transfers, grocery pre-stocking, babysitting, wine tastings and events. Ask the concierge before you arrive and it is waiting for you when you do.

Ready to plan your Hvar stay?

Send an inquiry and get a fast answer between 8 am and 10 pm, or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the dates, the number of people and roughly what you want to spend, and we come back with two or three honest suggestions, including the ones we would not book ourselves.
