Mekicevica, better known as Robinson beach, is a pair of small pebble beaches in one quiet bay on the south coast just east of Hvar town, with smooth white pebbles and natural pine shade. Part of the bay is traditionally used by naturists.

There is no road: walk the coastal path about 40 minutes from the town centre along the coastal path, the last 15 of them beyond Pokonji Dol, or arrive by taxi boat from Hvar harbour.

The only facility is Restaurant Robinson, a stone house among olive trees by the eastern beach that cooks Dalmatian dishes, including peka, and deliberately runs without electricity or tap water. Bring water and anything else you need; this is a beach for peace, not for service.
