Ventus, Vrisnik

Certified organic wines from two local winemakers, founded in 2019 and named after the Adriatic winds, poured in a restored stone house in Vrisnik.

The story

Ventus was founded in 2019 in Vrisnik as a partnership between two winemakers, Damir Gurdulić and Ivo Plenković, under the motto “together we are stronger”.

Its vineyards lie on both sides of the island: on the south slope near Ivan Dolac and Sveta Nedjelja, and on the north side around Vrisnik. Everything is certified organic, around 30,000 bottles a year.

The wines are named after the Adriatic winds, the logo is a wind rose, and they have won awards at the Noćnjak and Sabatina wine festivals.

The tasting room is a restored stone house in Vrisnik, a hill village above the Stari Grad Plain.
