Zecevo
A pine covered islet off Vrboska with clear turquoise water, a laid back beach bar and a long naturist tradition.
Zecevo is a small island just off the coast near Vrboska, reached by your own boat or a short taxi boat ride. Dense pines grow almost to the waterline, the sea around the islet is exceptionally clear, and the Latina beach bar keeps swimmers supplied through the season. Parts of the islet have a long naturist tradition, so expect a relaxed mix of visitors.
Park along the old Hvar to Stari Grad road above the bay and walk down the steep, rocky footpath, about 10 to 15 minutes on uneven ground. The roadside parking strip is small and fills quickly, so many visitors come by taxi boat or rental boat from Hvar harbour instead.
Facilities are modest, so bring what you need for the day. The clear, sheltered water is excellent for swimming and snorkelling; arrive early in July and August to be sure of a spot.
