How do you get to Malo Zarace: on foot, by car or by boat?
Malo Zarace is the west facing of the two deep pebble coves below the hamlet of Zarace, 6 km from Hvar town on the south coast, enclosed by dramatic rocky cliffs. Come by boat, or by car down the narrow road below the old stone village; parking above the coves is very limited, so arrive early. A narrow path leads down to this quieter cove, which most day trippers miss.
What is the seabed like and how is the entry into the sea?
Malo Zarace is the west facing of the two deep pebble coves below the hamlet of Zarace, 6 km from Hvar town on the south coast, enclosed by dramatic rocky cliffs. The rocky seabed makes it one of the better snorkelling and diving spots on the island.
Is there a restaurant or bar at Malo Zarace?
Yes, within a few hundred metres you will find Velo Zaraće, Hvar, Restoran Zorače Mohito bar, Beach Garden, Zaraće, Hvar, Gego Restaurant. In peak season come early or book a table for lunch.
What should we bring to Malo Zarace?
Pack water shoes for the pebbles, an umbrella or a hat, natural shade is not guaranteed, sun cream and a towel.
Can we arrive by taxi boat?
