Banj

The main Stari Grad town beach, minutes from the riva.

✓ Exact price instantly   ✓ Compares 4 booking sites   ✓ Local concierge support

Banj is Stari Grad's town beach on the north side of the bay, about 1 km from the centre: pebbles and gravel with stone slab areas and natural shade, free to use and adapted for visitors with disabilities.

The walk from town along the seafront is flat and pleasant, and cycling works too; parking at the beach itself is private only, so most people come on foot.

There are showers, changing cabins, a restaurant and a cafe bar, plus water activities for kids in season, which makes it the easiest family option in Stari Grad. The beach is only about 50 m long and busy in peak season, so come earlier in the day.
