Which is the most famous beach bar on Hvar?

Hula Hula in Hvar town for sunset, and Carpe Diem Beach on Stipanska (Marinkovac island) for parties. Both run from around noon; Carpe Diem has its own boats from the riva.

Do Hvar beach bars take cards?

Most do, but Hula Hula is cash only (there is an ATM on site). Bring some cash for taxi boats too.

How do I get to the Pakleni island beach bars?

Taxi boats leave the Hvar riva every 20 to 30 minutes in season for Palmizana (Laganini) and Stipanska (Carpe Diem Beach), or book our private speedboat.

When do Hvar beach bars open and close?

Most run from late May to late September through the daylight hours. Carpe Diem Beach keeps going after midnight in peak season, while smaller bars wind down around sunset.
