How do you get to Jagodna: on foot, by car or by boat?
Park along the old Hvar to Stari Grad road above the bay and walk down the steep, rocky footpath, about 10 to 15 minutes on uneven ground. The roadside parking strip is small and fills quickly, so many visitors come by taxi boat or rental boat from Hvar harbour instead. What is the seabed like and how is the entry into the sea?
Jagodna is a small pebble beach on the south coast of Hvar, tucked into a bay between the villages of Sveta Nedjelja and Ivan Dolac. Distinctive red cliffs and green pines frame crystal clear water that is ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and the bay stays much quieter than the beaches around Hvar town. The clear, sheltered water is excellent for swimming and snorkelling; arrive early in July and August to be sure of a spot.
Is there a restaurant or bar at Jagodna?
No, Google Maps shows no restaurant or bar within a few hundred metres of the beach, so bring your own water and snacks for the day.
Is there shade at Jagodna?
