Milna, sometimes called Vela Milna, is the main beach of the village of Milna, 4 km from Hvar town: a sunny curve of pebbles and gravel with some stone slabs, about 300 m from its smaller neighbour Mala Milna.

Access is easy by car from Hvar town or by boat into the protected cove; the village sits just off the main south coast road, so you can combine it with Zarace and Dubovica.

There is a restaurant and a cafe bar at the beach, and Milna village is known for konobas serving fresh fish, homemade olive oil and Dalmatian dishes. It is a favourite family destination, close to town but away from the summer rush.
