A dramatic cove beneath the cliffs of Zarace hamlet with a tiny harbour.

✓ Exact price instantly   ✓ Compares 4 booking sites   ✓ Local concierge support

Velo Zarace is the east facing pebble cove at the foot of Zarace hamlet, 6 km from Hvar town, framed by the same high cliffs as its smaller neighbour.

The road down from the main Hvar to Stari Grad road is steep but paved; parking is limited, and diners at the restaurants can often park for free. You can also arrive by boat.

A couple of small family restaurants sit practically on the water, including the Gego beach bar, which makes this the more social and accessible of the two Zarace coves. The underwater landscape draws snorkellers and divers.
