Villa Hvar Town Palazzo

The location is as premium as the villa itself: roughly 30 steps from the main square and a five-minute stroll from the waterfront and Hvar’s best-known restaurants. Since the old centre is a car-free zone, we personally welcome you at the harbour and walk you to the door, with porter service for your luggage already included.

Through the grand entrance you step into an open-plan dining area and a cosy living room with a large fireplace, wonderful in the off-season when the Bora brings crisp days. Next to it are a fully equipped kitchen, a stylish bar and direct access to a terrace with jacuzzi, sun loungers, barbecue and one of the bedrooms. Hand-painted cushion covers, fine drapery and Murano glass accessories set the tone throughout.

There are two master bedrooms: one on the ground floor with king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and terrace access, and a second upstairs with elegant wooden furnishings and a large lounge terrace overlooking the town. Another beautifully designed bedroom shares the first floor, while the top floor holds two more ensuite rooms with single beds (one with four, one with two), ideal as children’s or friends’ quarters.

Built entirely of stone with massive wooden doors, the palazzo is tucked into a quiet pocket of the centre, away from bars with loud music: close to the action yet a peaceful retreat. Evenings at the barbecue with the illuminated Fortica fortress as a backdrop feel like a journey through Hvar’s history.

Check-in 16:00, check-out 10:00. Advance payment 30% upon reservation, balance 70% due 90 days before check-in. Security deposit €1000, paid on arrival. Final cleaning €500. Sojourn tax included. Pets allowed on request. No smoking; events on request.
