The story

Luviji is run by the Bracanović family, and the name comes from “Luigi”, a family nickname.

Their vineyards are terraced on the slopes near Hvar Town. The wines include Pakleno, a red; Divjok, a plavac mali aged in oak; a pošip and a prošek. Their Pošip 2020 was among the best wines at the Jelsa Summer Wine Tasting in 2021.

Tastings are held in the candlelit cellar of the family house in the old town, the easy option if you are staying in Hvar Town and do not want to drive.
