Arriving in Split

The catamaran docks in the Split passenger port, five to ten minutes on foot from Diocletian’s Palace and the same from the bus and train stations.

Airport buses leave from the bus station next door and take about 40 minutes to Kaštela. Taxis from the port do it in half an hour outside rush hour.

If you have half a day before a flight, leave your bags at the port storage and walk into the old town instead of waiting at the terminal.

Foot passengers only. A car goes back from Stari Grad, which is twenty minutes from Jelsa by road.

Check out of your accommodation for the boat you booked. There is no next departure to fall back on until the afternoon.
