Jelsa has its own catamaran link to Split, which means the north side of Hvar, including Vrboska and the beaches around Zecevo, is reachable without a single bus. The boat calls at Bol on Brac on the way, one of the prettiest approaches in the islands.
The return boat leaves Jelsa in the early morning and early afternoon and arrives in Split about 90 minutes later. Timetables below are from the official 2026 schedules.
If the times do not fit, the fast catamarans to Hvar town run all day and a taxi or rental car crosses the island in about 40 minutes.
