Water taxi Hvar: shared boats to the Pakleni islands

Water taxis are the easiest way to move between Hvar town and the beaches you cannot reach by road. In season, shared taxi boats leave the Hvar riva roughly every 30 minutes from 9 am to 6 pm for Palmizana, Zdrilca, Mlini and Jerolim on the Pakleni islands: you pay on board and agree the return time with your skipper.

Airport transfers by speedboat

Catch your flight without ferry queues: a private speedboat takes you directly between Hvar Town port and Split Airport (SPU) in about 1 h 30 min door to port. Longer airport connections are also available: Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) in roughly 3 h 45 min along the coast, and Zadar (ZAD) in about 3 h 15 min through the islands. All transfers run in both directions, luggage is no problem, and your skipper waits if the flight is late.

Island and city transfers with journey times

Private transfers run on your schedule, in both directions: Hvar to Split city port in about 1 hour, Vis in around 40 minutes, Bol on Brac (Zlatni Rat beach) in about 45 minutes, Korcula Town in roughly 1 h 15 min and Vela Luka in about 1 hour. Any cove along the way can be added as a swim stop.

Good to know

July and August afternoons are the busiest: the last shared boats back from the beaches fill up fast, so agree your return in advance and save your skipper's number on WhatsApp. Boats run late into the night in season for dinners and parties, and sunset returns from Palmizana or a swim stop at the Red Rocks can be added to any private booking. If the weather turns, we reschedule or refund, simple as that.

How long does the Split Airport transfer take?

About 1 h 30 min dock to dock. We track your flight and shift the pickup if you land late, and the skipper meets you at the pier closest to the terminal.

Water taxi or catamaran: which is better?

The catamaran is cheaper for solo travellers, but it is tied to a timetable and sells out in summer. A private boat leaves when you want, takes you door to door with your luggage, and for groups of six or more the price per person often ends up similar.

What about luggage, kids and pets?

Normal holiday luggage travels free. Children of any age are welcome, with life jackets in kids sizes on board, and small pets can come along too: just mention them when booking.

Do you run at night?

Yes, in season boats run late into the night: dinner returns from Palmizana, party nights in Hvar town and early morning airport departures are all normal requests.

What happens in bad weather?

Safety decides. If the sea is too rough we move your transfer earlier, later or to the next day; if nothing works, any prepayment comes back in full.
