Gromin Dolac is one of the most secluded beaches on Hvar, a pebble cove on the south coast between Zavala and Gdinj. The narrow road down is an adventure in itself, agaves and pines hang over the turquoise shallows, and even in August you can often have the bay almost to yourself. Bring everything you need for the day, there are no facilities.
Garez-vous le long de l'ancienne route de Hvar à Stari Grad au-dessus de la baie et descendez le sentier escarpé et rocailleux, environ 10 à 15 minutes sur terrain accidenté. La bande de stationnement en bord de route est petite et se remplit vite; beaucoup de visiteurs viennent donc plutôt en bateau-taxi ou en bateau de location depuis le port de Hvar.
Les installations sont modestes, apportez donc ce dont vous avez besoin pour la journée. L'eau claire et abritée est excellente pour la baignade et le snorkeling; arrivez tôt en juillet et août pour être sûr d'avoir une place.

Orientée plein sud, elle est donc calme par bura du nord et agitée quand le jugo souffle du sud-est. Soleil presque toute la journée, ombre seulement là où les pins ou la falaise touchent l'eau.

The narrow road down is an adventure in itself, agaves and pines hang over the turquoise shallows, and even in August you can often have the bay almost to yourself. Park along the old Hvar to Stari Grad road above the bay and walk down the steep, rocky footpath, about 10 to 15 minutes on uneven ground. The roadside parking strip is small and fills quickly, so many visitors come by taxi boat or rental boat from Hvar harbour instead.
