Gromin Dolac is one of the most secluded beaches on Hvar, a pebble cove on the south coast between Zavala and Gdinj. The narrow road down is an adventure in itself, agaves and pines hang over the turquoise shallows, and even in August you can often have the bay almost to yourself. Bring everything you need for the day, there are no facilities.
Parcheggiate lungo la vecchia strada da Hvar a Stari Grad sopra la baia e scendete per il sentiero ripido e roccioso, circa 10-15 minuti su terreno sconnesso. La striscia di parcheggio a bordo strada è piccola e si riempie in fretta, quindi molti visitatori arrivano invece in taxi boat o barca a noleggio dal porto di Hvar.
I servizi sono modesti, quindi portate ciò che vi serve per la giornata. L'acqua limpida e riparata è eccellente per nuotare e fare snorkeling; a luglio e agosto arrivate presto per assicurarvi un posto.

Park along the old Hvar to Stari Grad road above the bay and walk down the steep, rocky footpath, about 10 to 15 minutes on uneven ground. The roadside parking strip is small and fills quickly, so many visitors come by taxi boat or rental boat from Hvar harbour instead.
