Dubovica is one of Hvar's most photographed coves: a pebble beach on the south coast about 8 km from Hvar town, with an old stone house of the Kasandric family standing right at the water's edge.
Parken Sie an der alten Straße von Hvar nach Stari Grad oberhalb der Bucht und gehen Sie den steilen, felsigen Fußweg hinunter, etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten auf unebenem Gelände. Der Parkstreifen am Straßenrand ist klein und schnell voll, daher kommen viele Besucher stattdessen mit dem Taxiboot oder Mietboot vom Hafen Hvar.
Die Ausstattung ist bescheiden, bringen Sie also mit, was Sie für den Tag brauchen. Das klare, geschützte Wasser ist hervorragend zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln; kommen Sie im Juli und August früh, um sich einen Platz zu sichern.

The roadside parking strip is small and fills quickly, so many visitors come by taxi boat or rental boat from Hvar harbour instead.
